I also think that most teams just won't be able to afford Eichel with his cap hit, so they "dump" (I'd use "include") 3rd-4th line role players in deals. I will not say if it's the right thing to do, or wrong thing to do. I honestly stopped thinking about Eichel being traded: I'll be interested to see what happens when he eventually does; where he is going and what the Sabres and Adams decided was fair value.

Agree, Buffalo probably retains salary on Eichel at this point, his contract given his injury status would otherwise probably be a non starter for most clubs in this flat cap environment.
