Caps pass. Strome is a product of Panarin. He's really just a good 3C, which is fine but Caps need a top 6 center in return or parts to get a top 6 center from someone else.

Couldnt disagree with you more... when panarin took his leave of absence for a 1/4 of the season, strome continued to produce without panarin. In 11 games played without Panarin, he had 9 points for a points/games-played (P/GP) rate of 0.82. Do they have great chemistry, yes. This is a far cry from saying that he isnt a top 6 center. Statistically this is untrue.

He carried our offense when Panarin was out, this can’t be used as an argument anymore.
