Bob Murray- "Looking to give away our #1 dman. We'll take a 3rd liner if that works for you? Thanks!"

Fowler is no #1 dmen no matter how the ducks use him.

That Trouba trade is a straight no from Winnipeg. Keep your bad contracts Wings.

So you legitimately think that Tatar gets you Fowler?

I think Tatar is very underrated and Fowler is very overrated and their value is much closer than people think. All depends what kind of deal you can get Tatar to sign.

I know, it's tight. I was going to include AA instead, but I love him so I couldn't bring myself to do it. Maybe if the Wings add a 1st instead of a 2nd.

I just hate both those contracts. Both players are very over paid and Trouba has been the Jets best dmen and it hasn't been close.

It's insane how much red wings fans over value Tatar.. one good season and showing clear decline over the past two years. He has 6 more points than Brian Boyle and has played 6 more games than Boyle this year lol - im not saying hes worse than Boyle in any way but he's nowhere near fair value for fowler. 28 points in 60 games does not get you a top defenseman - Fowler has more points than Tatar this year as a defenseman. Tatar is 26 years old and is declining, hard to argue he's still young/learning/improving.
Also no chance that package gets you Nuge and a 2nd round pick, no chance at all.
Agree with JuniorGm about Winnipeg and the Trouba trade too.
