RW/C meaning he can also play center grin! You know players can play multiple positions right?

They list landeskog as a lw/c and he’s never played a game at Centre

Ransom positing listening from nhl.com, where capfruendly pulls the info from doesn’t mean they actually play those dual positions

Can’t OS Necas this year and if that’s the OS next year canes thank you. They’re flexible with their cap space bc they didn’t extend Hamilton so they’ll be fine next year if this were to be a thing.

Carolina would match. Can't offer sheet Necas until next year and Kotkaniemi was only signed for 1 year.

Canes are projected to have over $25M in cap space next summer. I’d say they’ll be fine and have plenty of room to accommodate Necas.

This is bs. Landeskog often plays center. Just look at his icetime with teammates.

He only takes face offs for MacKinnon’s weak side , he never plays Centre

I don’t know how that’s not true, he’s never played a game at Centre in his avs career

Carolina has roughly $24 million for 11 slots next summer. Assuming $12.6 million for the two youngsters, that's $11.4 million to fill out the roster with 9 players, or $1 million per player average -- not a terrible burden or challenge. And that's without any adjustments.

Exactly. And with Gardiner likely out of the picture one way or another that’s an extra 4m which really makes things easier.
