I basically consider the Ducks to be out. It wouldn't make sense for them anyways. They aren't an Eichel away from being a playoff team, especially if they would have to give up Comtois.

Jackets don’t consider. We’d rather have boqvist every day of the week.

We are a rebuilding team, why would we trade assets? Especially a very promising forward in Arttu and a 1st? Also no way Buffalo would trade Olofsson+ for Woods, imo Devils have to add a pick not Buffalo

Need a RD and Bovquist is a great young one. Centers easier than a RD to fill for bflo. Wood gives us grit, size, and scoring, the team needs that n a young forward, not just PP goals.

Rakell and Deslauriers are 1 year rentals. So Comtois and 2 picks for Eichel.

That doesn't make them worthless. Rakell could get a 1st from a contender, but let's say Deslauriers and Rakell don't matter. The trade is still not good for the Ducks.
LW would be the Ducks worst position now and in the future because of this trade. The only LW prospect I see being a Top 6 NHLer one day is Pastujov. Tracey, McLaughlin, Galimov probably won't become that. And the two unprotected 1st's have a high chance of being Top 5 picks. They should keep them and the chance of drafting one of Wright, Lambert, Savoie or Miroshnichenko in 2022 and one of Bedard, Michkov or Fantilli in 2023. The Ducks should not trade for Eichel.
