This is pretty tempting but Kings can't long afford Eichel long-term after signing Danault.

Kings are out on Eichel. However, Kings wouldn’t do that trade anyways. Los Angeles already tried for weeks if not months to acquire Eichel just like many other teams. Buffalo is trying to acquire more than what he’s worth. Kings have used up all there cap space and don’t have room for him. I see you tried to make the cap situation work. Well, Kings are not going to trade Iafallo, he seems to be a management favorite. Buffalo will not retain any cap. Sorry but Kings and Eichel won’t work.

I think the Eichel trade is fair overall, but I don't see a reason for BUF to retain.

As far as the Rangers trade, I can't see that happened. They're thin a center to begin with, so moving Strome really hurts.

i think the islanders would easily match that offersheet. i also don’t see that strome trade happening. i don’t think they’re really looking to move him, so it would have to be a good deal.

Before Danault, LA would have strongly considered that trade. After Danault, they can't Eichel anymore.

Sorokin is eligible for an offer sheet
The Rangers will not be trading Strome unless they get another center
The Rangers will not be trading Strome for an undrafted AHLer turning 24
Los Angeles isn't a fit for Eichel anymore, with Danault signed with cap and term, and Byfield still being their top prospect.
