Not really saying anything in particular.

Let’s say this is the lineup of the team if they had kept Q as head coach instead of hiring JC.

TBH, I don't think Forsling would've ever blossomed in Chicago. He obviously wasn't getting the chances required, and he just needed a change of scenery. Had the Panthers never claimed him, he probably would be your #3 LHD

Maybe that’s correct, maybe it’s not. Forsling went to Florida in FA I believe, and under Q he has blossomed into a solid D man. The reason I gave him on this team is because this is a lazily done “what If they never fired Q… also sorry for saying Q so much I am really so lazy I don’t want to type his name out.

Forsling was picked off of waivers. I think he fell out of favor once Q left. And obviously, Q wanted him back. Yeah, if Q never left Chicago, I think he would've put Forsling in a position to succeed, as he did in Florida.

BTW, Quenneville is amazing! You can just type one letter and everyone knows who you're talking about.

Forsling was log jammed during his time with the hawks but Q loved him. Even with Q having that interest in Forsling he still needed time, he was young. It was probably Q’s idea to claim him off waivers so those two can get back to what they started. It doesn’t shock me in the slightest Forsling’s career has spring boarded under Quenneville after seeing those two together in Chicago. If Q and Forsling stayed in Chicago I don’t see how it would be all that different than Forsling finding his stride in Florida. The opportunities would have been there the past few seasons with the hawks lackluster defense. Quenneville rewarded him in Florida, he was going to be rewarded in Chicago but like I said he was too young at the time, his last season with the hawks he was still only 22. I don’t think it was a change of scenery required, it was development.

Edit: I refresh the page after I comment and your new comment basically has the same idea of what I just wrote.
