I think expect 2 high end but not blue chip prospects and a second for a pending Ufa Hertl as a starting point is a bit rich. With some term absolutely.

Most teams 3c can play in the top 6 in a pinch in injuries. See when Tavares went down last year kerfoot managed. But if we trade kerfoot Kampf is not a top 6 c.

So we either get a better 3c or we need a top line w who can play C in injury situations.

Yeah agreed - Rielly would be a good it I think. They probably would be okay with holding both Gio and Rielly for the season and then when they don't make the post-season, trading Gio away for a draft pick or two to a playoff contender.
