so $9,000,000 and 4 1st round picks and half of Johansen's salary retained for a player that has never done better than a 54 point per season pace. I really like Tkachuk but we'd have to be nuts to give that kind of compensation for him.

thats the easiest no ever. Even on 50% retained it's no. Nashville will be paying to dump that terrible contract.
