Minnesota says no. Why in the world would Minnesota trade a lottery 1st round pick, or 1st round pick for a player whose not a true C much less His cap . Minnesota wouldn't be interested in nick schmaltz. They would be more interested in Christian

Schmaltz is definitely a center and don't act like that pick is a binafide lottery pick.

It's a lottery pick. They aren't in covid division. So stop acting like it's not. You also on purposely send Christian to Montreal, and put less for them compared to Minnesota.
- in addition Minnesota doesn't have the cap, or would be interested considering they had no interest in trocheck, and continue no interest in Sean Monahan for two years

I'm sure a team would be willing to pay that for Chychrun but the Avs aren't that team. They are stacked on LHD with Toews, Girard, Byram, Murray, etc

From Ottawa's perspective

It would really suck to lose Formenton but I'd do it for Clayton Keller

The pick would probably have to be better than that.

That being said, I doubt Arizona would trade Keller, he's young and should be part of their rebuild. Same with Chychrun
