Not enough, especially with top 3 protection on the 1st rounder

No one is giving up Shane Wright or Lambert for Eichel lmao. That is def enough. No one is offering a Batherson level player

Sure the sharks need centers but Brown has yet to establish himself as an nhler. Would need to be a first rounder going with him.

I’m sure Doug Wilson would take Josh Norris back 😅

I think you can count on your fingers how many teams can make a trade for him. Not many teams in the west that can or will. Vegas or Minny are the only teams left and I can’t see either being or willing to do that deal

Do you not know who Eichel is? A top 6 winger with lots left to prove in Batherson and a 1st rounder that can't possibly be top 3 OA (which holds less value than what Carolina just punted away with the Kotkaniemi O/S) shouldn't be enough for at worst a top 10 player in the league even with his injury.

I don’t even want to trade him for Eichel. He’s also Brady’s best friend, doesn’t make sense to trade him imo.

Lots to prove? He was on pace for 50pts this year and has huge potential. I see him as Filip Forsberg level within 1-2 years. If Eichel was healthy , Id give up another strong piece but he’s not

Probably have to add a little as Tierney is not a positive value but not like anything ridiculous. Other than that, I wouldnt be disappointed

I wouldnt even think about the protection, it would be an absolute fluke if Ottawa was top 3, especially with Eichel for over half the year

I think this draft is very strong , any top 20 pick would have a high chance of top 6F/ top 4D

Eichel now > Lambert in his prime. Lambert will be a fine NHLer and I would assume right now Buffalo ends up with him too, but hes not better than Eichel

Even 2003 had busts in its top 20, its never a guarantee.

He’s not but I think he has 1C potential easily.
I can’t see Seattle trading Beniers and/or their 2022 1st imo.
Anaheim yeah but I just don’t feel like they’d trade Zegras or Comtois or Drysdale either. I don’t know about McTavish

That’s why I said high chance and not guaranteed

That is a bold comparison which I do not agree with re: Batherson

Ya I think he'll be a solid 2nd line winger but I think his ceiling is far lower than Forsberg

I think he has all the tools to be a top line player.
