Ken Holland is way to high considering his recent off season

I agree the oilers had a bad offseason, but he’s kept the red wings a cup contender for many years so that still gives him bonus points

Signed Hamilton, Bernier, Tatar
Traded Coleman for Foote and 1st, traded 2nd and Maltsev for Graves, traded Vatanen for Kuokkanen, traded 5th for Murray
Drafted Luke Hughes, Alexander Holtz, Dawson Mercer, Shakir Mukamudullin
All this in 1.5 years

Seems like "meh" GM

Not sure why Guerin and B. Armstrong are so low. The latter should at least qualify for too soon to tell.

I feel like he’s been overpaying players this offseason especially Hamilton. If the devils can be a playoff team in a couple years, I may put him higher.

Bergevin just built a team that went to the finals and Guerin took a rebuilding team and made them good again...

How is Kekalainen a great GM if he can't retain any of his star players

Minnesota’s double buyout was a stupid move and is going to hurt them badly in the next few years. Also he signed Alex Goligoski for too much. I just feel this offseason is enough for me to put Guerin at the bottom of the list even below Jim Benning

We've done significantly better since he came, he's gotten rid of cap hell and trade for some needed assets

Honestly I think the Canadians run in a one time thing given the division and choke job of the Toronto Maple Leafs last year, they won't even make the playoffs this year.

yeah, he got decent goaltending which for some reason Snow never did and had the perfect coach fall into his lap when the caps decided to cheap out on him. Literally every part of the team that got him anywhere was already there and all he did was add bad contracts that ended up costing a top pairing defender.

Hamilton is not overpaid. Arguebly top 5 defensemen making 9M is great value based on what other defensemen are getting
Tatar and Bernier are slight overpays but they are only on 2 year contracts
For a team that doesn't attract many free agents, Fitz did a great job in free agency

To be fair, he wasn;t the one who signed those two deals. And Goligoski's contract is only one season. Guerin has made some good trades, chief among them the outstanding Zucker dump heist.
