Great fit on any team, however offering your garbage is not a great fit for us. Lysell plus a first is the starter or this goes nowhere

Lol. Want the bruins to take Karlsson and Vlasic while you’re at it? What a joke. Are there any sharks fans that just realize this guy is a standard middle six rental? Why do you think he should get more than mark stone?

Because there is a precedent set by other rentals that got more than that for a lesser player than Hertl. Moore is a cap dump, sharks don’t need LD, DeBrusk is whatever and chances are it’s a lower first round pick. Not very enticing. You have something against Hertl and it’s pretty clear in your posts.

It starts with Lysell and a 1st+. When you remove that combination you remove the trade.

Name one. Name ONE time a rental (that’s what he is at this point, don’t go giving names of guys that moved at draft day with an extension in place. That’s completely different) thats not as good as hertl, this .64ppg stud with one 50 point season to his name.

Just because he’s one of the sharks few tradable assets doesn’t mean he’ll get a bigger rental return than actual first line players. Why is he getting more than mark stone despite being half the player?

If you’re going to be name calling, at least have the courage to tag me. Soft.

Bruins need:
a) a 1 or 2LD, and
b) to keep a close eye on their wallet in case the playoff untested G-Men do not pan-out come TDL.

Keep Hertl, then wait 10min and I'm sure crazy Waddell/Dundon or Holland or Pegula twins will give ya'll a call...

Never said he wasn’t a good player.

PS if charts are all you have, you’re not bringing anything to the table. Try watching, and having an opinion of your own.

A not great defenseman. Ristolainen who is 26, makes $5.4 mil on the last year of his deal, and since ppg over a career is a thing his is .45 ppg. His return was the 2020 14th overall pick, 2022 PHI 2nd round and a 26 yo LD (Hagg). That trade is more enticing than Boston’s offered hear.

Hertl has averaged .81 ppg over the last two shortened seasons while getting covid, is a 27 year old center on the last year of his deal worth $5.6 mil, and is a metrics star.

He will cost much more Risto and more than the trade offered hear.

I would say the Deals that are the most comparable are Duchene to CLB, Stone to OTT, and maybe Trocheck to CAR. All of them are deadline deals which affects value. At the end of the day, The B's arent't gonna part with Lysell this early for a pending UFA. At the same time the deal above is not quite there. Splitting the difference gets a fair deal - yet, most likely a deal that a team with a deeper farm system and more cap space can beat.

You called him a middle-6 player which is objectively incorrect. Have to point out delusion when I see it. 🤷

But I did watch literally every single Sharks game last year and advanced stats aside, he's still a top-25 1C. Nice try with that strawman though!

Doesn’t score like one.

.87 points per game is in fact a strong first line player, combine that with the fact he carried guys like Meier and Marleau balcers or barabanov and Labanc as his line mates most of the season abd it’s even more impressive
Kane was on coutures line more often than not

Like i said, he’s a good player. But to be a top line center, scoring is a part of the equation. Danault is an awesome player. Anyone think hes a top center?

Well that’s not what he’s done for his career. Solid year though.

Hertl will stay put and possibly be dealt at TDL IF the sharts feel the need to rebuild. I'd be willing to bet that Kane does some rehab or therapy stint and comes back guns a-blazin' and DeBrusk has a good enough start to the season to take him off the trade table. Then they'll be BEGGING the Bruins for some D!!

Ummmm okay. Points per year. That’s the total number of points over the past three years divided by the number of years (three). 153/3=51. And we have an average!

No. You don’t. That’s a different thing. You see people say 82 game pace all the time. If a guy plays a game every season for a decade, and finishes up with 10 points, does he average 82 points a season? Of course not.

When someone says average, the tend to mean….average.
