How many wins has Calvin Pickard averaged over the last three seasons?

No. You don’t. That’s a different thing. You see people say 82 game pace all the time. If a guy plays a game every season for a decade, and finishes up with 10 points, does he average 82 points a season? Of course not.

When someone says average, the tend to mean….average.

These are some of the worst strawman arguments I've ever seen.

I dont have a reason to hate Bruins fans but they just seem so argumentative and usally without any real good arguments

Points per season is points per season. And he's not playing top line in Boston, so middle 6. Honestly I don't think what SJ wants is going to work for Boston, likely no deal.

Deal here isn't enough, but sharks fans are high if if they think Boston is moving Lysell and a 1st for Hertl.

It's just this guy constantly.

Tomas Hertl is a middle 6 center because Calvin Pickard.

Tomas Hertl is a middle 6 center because irrelevant hypothetical scenario.

It's also the complaining anytime someone using actual numbers, he needs to present insane strawman arguments to try and justify his insanity.

A not great defenseman. Ristolainen who is 26, makes $5.4 mil on the last year of his deal, and since ppg over a career is a thing his is .45 ppg. His return was the 2020 14th overall pick, 2022 PHI 2nd round and a 26 yo LD (Hagg). That trade is more enticing than Boston’s offered hear.

Hertl has averaged .81 ppg over the last two shortened seasons while getting covid, is a 27 year old center on the last year of his deal worth $5.6 mil, and is a metrics star.

He will cost much more Risto and more than the trade offered hear.

tbf you cant use this trade as a comparable when everyone with a brain knows that trade was a SEVERE overpayment. BUF got lucky that Fletcher was high af that day.

It doesn’t matter, it sets the precedent for what to expect in trades moving forward. Look at what Jones got after. They are basically the same age and cap hit on the last year of their deals. It’s a fair comparison.

Once again, everyone knows that Jones trade was a SEVERE overpay. Sure it sets the market, but only the dumb enough gms will bite. I doubt Hertl gets moved before the season starts, and by the time we reach the deadline, the market wont sustain the Jones & Risto trade rates

That was my point is that it sets the market. Jones is different with extension and was an overpay but I think the Risto trade is a more than fair comparison. I agree that if he’s moved it will be at the deadline.

I could see how you think that if you take Hertl out of the deal
