Caufield is way more skilled, but Batherson could stuff him into a shoe box, so it comes out even in my books

He's played playoffs hockey against heavy teams in Vegas, Tampa and Winnipeg and didn't look out of place. We have yet to see him being really disadvantaged by his size in the big league. It may be the case at some point, but so far it isn't.

He's gonna get in the showers after a game and get sucked down the drain.

Batherson is the better NHL player now, but is much older. It's tough to project his ceiling as he has consistently continued to develop since being drafted and is still getting better. I think he'll be the better all around guy but Caufield is going to be one of the best goal scorers in the game. And one of MTLs top line forwards.

Caufield has Drake on goal scoring and speed, Drake has Cole on playmaking and size. Really depends on what kind of player you want but I think Caufield will be more of a difference maker in this league.

Caufield and its not close. He only has 10 NHL games under his belt and looked amazing versus tough teams in his first Playoffs. Will be even funnier when he wins the calder this season too

I haven’t followed Batherson that much, but I will say, Cole Caufield isn’t a one-trick pony. He might even be a better playmaker than he is goal scorer. Offensively, I have never seen a player as gifted as him play for Montréal.

Caufield will always win these but for having followed him since 2017, I wouldn't count Batherson too fast.

You must be pretty young (and this is NOT a bad thing). Kovalev played for Montreal until 2009
