Just a thought. Since trading for Eichel would be leveraging the future in order to (try to) compete this year, it might be better to include Poehling in a trade instead of Evans. I think Evans can have more of an immediate impact, though I think Poehling has a higher ceiling. Tough position this team is in right now.

See, this has enough for me. A very good prospect who could be a first liner, a first in a good draft, drouin who can pad his stats and be flipped, and some lesser stuff, but at least its all forwards. Its not the raping and pillaging haul that i want, but its actually pretty reasonable.

I was even just going to retain 50% and flip Drouin immediately. I doubt he wants to go to Buffalo and Adams is trying to weed out that kind of attitude

Hes making 5.5 for this year and next. Im trying in my head to make the case that he could get serious minutes and a great chance to put up points, but with just cozens and mittelstadt as top two centers, im not convincing anybody that more minutes equals more points. I still expect to see ruotsalainen and olofsson put up points, but nobody is betting their next contract on that. Wonder what drouin at 50% gets us, if hes flipped right away.

Ill take a cap dump center we can stick at 1C, a pick and/or a prospect. I flipped him for Ryan Johansen at his full cap hit + and NSH fans seemed cool with that
