Burky gets more or just stays with COL for that number. Forsberg gets more term likely.

Devils would rather not give up those guys for an 11 million dollar player. Marner is a superstar, but fitzy is in control of the contract situation for the team rn. Also marner isn’t gonna stay in Nj after his contract is up. Devils decline.

Agree with all of this
Marner is a fantastic player but he won't replicate the same success in NJ and he will likely leave as a UFA. Devils are better off holding onto their pieces
