I like the Hunwick trade. None of the rest. I would hope we could get a lot more for Jvr than that. I still think they shouldn't trade Nylander unless it's for Ekblad.

JVR is a lot more important to the Leafs then people give him credit for. I really believe management needs to do whatever it takes to keep him there long term. And I'm a huge Nylander fan, he should never be traded. He'll be a 70 point player in the league, and trading him would haunt Toronto like Filip Forsberg haunts the Caps

That's a terrible return for Nylander. Virtanen is likely a non NHLer and Tanev is nice but for three years only. To trade a potential star in Nylander and a NHL Dmen for those two guys....no way.
I don't know why so man people are so anxious for the Leafs to upgrade their defence this season. Pre expansion with cap space and other times scrambling with protection lists is the time for the Leafs trade not at TDL.

Horrible value for Nylander, trading our future 2nd line centre or first line RW would be plain stupid. If you have any sense as a leafs fan, please stop trading Nylander, just stop. Unless is for Parayko/Ekblad type D in a package, don't even entertain it.
