Description
The Hall Curse (Or Blessing) would be really fun to see on the bruins, and this is how it could theoretically happen! (For FUN, so lighten up lmao)

At the beginning of this season, bruins make the trade sending debrusk to the flames for their first (Not sure why the flames want him with Tkachuk and Johnny, but they do so im not going to argue, plus this is for fun anyway so dont be annoying)

Flames do what they do, and just barely miss the playoffs falling into the number 18 spot, second worst odds for the lottery.
This is where Hall comes in, using the Hall curse / blessing, the bruins, who know own that flames pick, win the 1st overall pick

Nobody knows about McAvoy or Bergys contracts yet so im down to discuss, but again if you are rude (for no reason) I will call you out for it (and be right)

THIS HAPPENS NEAR THE BEGGINING OF THIS SEASON, so debrusk is still signed, and he is an RFA anyway so he IS NOT a rental. And yes, he had an off year last year, but seeing peoples trades for Monahan and Hertl and all of these other 29+ year old guys, debrusk IS STILL WORTH A FIRST. so if you disagree thats fine, but DO NOT COMMENT about it because thats your opinion

I do think that unless Sweeney swindles another one of his players, mcavoy comes in around 11. A first overall pick would be fun!

Debrusk is simply worth a 1st still... He hasnt shot UP in value and gone to like a roster player and a 1st, but he certainly hasnt droped in value more than becoming worth a late 1st rounder rather than the 15th overall.

You're asking people not to be "rude" by sharing an opinion that differs from your own, but you're telling them they're not allowed to comment unless they do it the "proper" by blindly agreeing with you. At the same time, you're argument that DeBrusk is "simply worth a 1st" is pretty weak. Just because a player was a former 1st rounder doesn't mean they will return a 1st round pick in a trade -- you still have to be a productive player in the NHL. As far as his trade value and possible return, a lot will depend on how he plays this upcoming season. Right now, no team is paying a 1st for a guy that scored 5 goals and 14 points in 41 games last season.

The point is, I still believe he is worth a 1st, and that is a totally valid opinion...
I dont want people saying "this ACGM sucks, debrusk isnt worth a first". thats all, because that would be A) Rude and B) Untrue lol
