Description

Vancouver 100% probably matches any offer sheet to Pettersson. And you don't really like to make enemies (Car.-Mon.). But it's fun to imagine if the Wild could do this. They can for this season. But the cap implications for 2022 and beyond are ?????. You most likely have to trade 2 of these 3 (Fiala, Dumba, and Zuccarello) to create cap for 2022. And then the cap is still tight. So it's probably a no-go even if Van. wouldn't match. Just fun to imagine a C like Pettersson with KK.

Sounds like Kirill's deal will be in the $9M range.

I'd love Pettersson but I don't see an offer sheet happening. You said it: we'd have to move out cap to make it work next year.
