Winnipeg says no. No one it's giving up that much for a severely overpaid winger.

I'd venture to say every team declines. While I think the value of the Buffalo trade is solid, the fact they're entering another rebuild makes me think they're not looking to give up any futures.

Cernak is probably one best values at RHD right now and moving him creates a bigger hole and they are so loaded at LHD that there's really no place for Rielly. Everyone on the left side for Tampa is better than Rielly.

I don’t think I’d do Cernak for Reilly straight up. Cernak plays a very strong defensive game that suits Tampa’s needs. Reilly is not good enough defensively in my opinion to do this and they don’t need more offense on the backend. Plus they’ve got Hedman, McDonagh and Sergachev who I’d take over Reilly for sure for their superior two way game.

You seem to be overvaluing the leafs players.

For Matthews, you're severely underselling him. For Marner, you're overselling him (even packaged with Robertson and Amirov).

Personally, I hope Matthews stays, we can build around him even if Tavares, Marner or Nylander aren't around.

Put it this way if you swap Cernak for Reilly I don’t think Tampa wins those 2 cups. People really underestimate how valuable Cernak is and the strength of that pairing with McDonagh on the teams success. Reilly is fantastic but there isn’t a fit at all imo.

Matthews isn't going anywhere. He'll resign in TO. Arizona will be gone before his contract is even up.
