Not really, the only way I can see Monahan getting traded is in a package deal for Eichel

Depending on the Eichel situation. If we trade Monahan to Montreal we would need a 2c. If we can get Eichel with the peices that we trade for Monahan and some of our own I would like that

If we traded Monahan for Eichel we wouldn’t need a second line centre, since our top six would be:

Gaudreau-Eichel-Tkachuk
Mangiapane-Lindholm-Coleman

I would want that 1st and 3rd from Carolina

He wont be moved unless its in a trade for Eichel. With Brisson in charge now a 3-way trade is completely possible (he made the Duchene trade happen).

I think what you are looking for more here that wasnt really answered is what would Montreal have to pay if they were gett8ng Monahan (for this we will assume Calgary is also getting Eichel). I would say the lower of the 2 1sts, a solid prospect like Ylonen or Tuch, and some cap going out (to Buffalo in this scenario) in either Drouin or Byron
