OMG IF this is the solution MB should be fired immediately. Dvorak is not an upgrade and is not worth all that. Would you give up all of that for Victor Rask? Cause essentially they are similar players. They are both 3rd line centers and only 3 years apart in age.

Habs acquired him for a 5th rounder (Well, his rights) from Carolina just before becoming UFA. Then, signed him to a 4 years contract with 3.5 AAV.

Not close to an accurate comparison. Dvorak has great offensive skill, just is stuck with players that have no offensive talent for line mates. (Christian Fischer and Lawson Crouse. Sometimes a washed up Brassard).

What about when he played with Halll and Kessel? His numbers did not go up significantly! He just platues at a 3C, his offensive skills are equal to Danaults. Not really the guy you want in your top 6 if you are trying to contend.
