Dvorak, Vilardi, Hertl.....are just 3 of those options.
1st, 2nd, 3rd picks in 2022 plus one of our young D prospects should get any of these deals done....add in a winger prospect and any of Kulak, Armia or Lekhs and there should be no reason deal can't get done.

LA's probably not trading Vilardi for anything less than an overpay

I think my initial offer of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd + Kulak and Harris was already an overpay for Vilardi
But after seeing the mess of RFAs for next summer I decided to revert the trade and offer a lesser package for Dvorak....which in my opinion is still an overpay

They just submitted a proposal for a new arena in Tempe that would work in conjunctiono with ASU sports. And Bettman's not letting them leave that big of a media market and move to Canada immediately after massive US television deals with ESPN and Turner. They're most likely staying.

I don’t see Kulak as a trade piece ever that acquires a top six C.

As much as I love the Kachina’s, I hope that’s not the case and they move to Quebec City

I'd love Quebec City, too, but again, it's doubtful for so many reasons: it's an east coast city, a Canadian city for that matter. This matters because if the Coyotes do end up relocating, the NHL will have to pay attention to both realignment and their brand new US TV deal. I think they stay, but if they do move, I'd hedge my bets that it's Houston, San Antonio, or Portland. smile

Whoever ends up with the Coyotes from that list is gonna relocate in 15 years

Maybe? The NHL, to the surprise of many (including myself), has been successful in many parts of the southern United States. I never thought I would live to see a team not only move to Las Vegas, but thrive there. They've also been successful in Anaheim, San Jose, Los Angeles, Dallas, Tampa Bay and Raleigh. And they were initially successful in Phoenix: their financial woes started once they arrived in Glendale. Yes, they missed on Atlanta, but to say that a city like San Antonio (which is currently a one sport city and a top 30 market in the United States and has a ready-made arean) or Houston (a top 5 market with a ready-made arena) isn't grasping the socio-economic realities of moving to one of those two locations. Finally, if the Coyotes move (this has become a rather silly conversation, as it's based on opinions and conjecture), it will come with an opportunity to grow and build the game, which is something the NHL loves. smile
