Stars accept. A Gurianov, Benn, Kessel line would be fire, it makes be think of the HBK line back in the day.

That's too much for Dvorak, take out Drouin and probably Struble

Personally I disagree. It's essentially the same return NYI paid for Pageau, with Drouin added to equalize cap and pay for Dvorak's ready term.

I do believe Dvorak to get at least that much, since there's rumored to be lots of interest for him.

It would be stupid if the Habs paid that much for him. If that’s the cost get someone else. I would rather sign Bozak for one year than pay that much for a player who is above average but not great

Suit yourself, but if you expect that the center core of Suzuki-Bozak-Evans-Paquette is competitive enough, it's going to be a dark year for Habs fans

It’s already going to be a dark year whether people want to admit it or not. The way the off-season went was less than ideal. That first round pick could be a lottery pick and Dvorak is not worth that and struble is a good prospect. I believe the Canadiens are smart enough not to mortgage the future for someone who is not going to put them in a position to win. There is only one guy on the market to trade the farm for and Dvorak shouldn’t be that guy in my opinion

There is nothing wrong with the trade and I do think AZ sees Montreal in a vulnerable situation but IMO they should not overpay like this.

Yeah, that's a bit much. I guess if I'm trying to view the logic in the trade, moving Drouin is to free up space for Dvorak, but yeah, overall it's a lot.

If Phil says yes then I think DAL has to be all over that.
