Far too much for a rental. That would be terrible for the Jets.

A late first and and 2 b prospects for an elite top 6 winger that gives them a legitimate shot at the cup. I’d do it

Samberg isn't a B prospect and well see how Ves does this year. Plus no rental returns two good prospects and a 1st at the TDL. I wouldn't mind getting him, but with Hertl being a true rental that Winnipeg doesn't have the cap space or need to re-sign, there should be no way Winnipeg gives up Samberg for him.

Sharks walk away from this deal and don't look back. Vesalainen hasn't developed as expected, Jets are too good for their draft picks to be of high value. Last I checked Samberg is interesting. Maybe instead of Vesalainen and get a good young roster player and then you would have interest.

Sharks don’t do this but even if they did, I don’t get why Winnipeg would want Hertl. He’s a top-2 center which y’all already have a couple of already.

This would be a steal for u guys. But realistically if we’re gonna trade for him it’s gonna be samberg and a first for him since his contract is up this year

Quite the opposite of a steal lol. Like I said though Sharks easily decline and get better offers anyways

1. Did you just call Hertl a winger?

Yeah he is not waiving for Canada let alone Winnipeg. If hertl goes one of the big east coast teams Rangers, Bruins, Islanders, Flyers would out bid you
