Sellers at TDL no playoffs

Created by: Can_Fan
Team: 2021-22 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 5, 2021
Published: Sep. 5, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
These are all possible trades, the teams trading for these players are kind of arbitrary based on probable needs.
I feel like missing the playoffs and getting all the picks for the draft in MTL would not be so bad. But I feel like Bergevin and Timmins won't be the ones drafting this year so I'm less worried about all these later draft picks.
There is enough picks to move up in the draft also.
Trades
1.
MTL
  1. 2022 5th round pick (BOS)
2.
MTL
  1. 2022 5th round pick (PIT)
3.
MTL
  1. 2022 1st round pick (NYI)
  2. 2022 5th round pick (NYI)
Additional Details:
Based of Savard trade last year
NYI
  1. Chiarot, Ben ($1,750,000 retained)
4.
MTL
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Lekhi could fetch an interesting return because of his RFA status. A return like a B-prospect and a 3rd? Depending on the market
COL
  1. Lehkonen, Artturi
Additional Details:
I don't know the prospects well enough for a fair trade, but MTL needs RD prospects
5.
MTL
  1. 2022 6th round pick (WPG)
WPG
  1. Kulak, Brett ($850,000 retained)

I would do a 3rd for Lehkonen with retention if the Avs needed a forward at the deadline. I wouldnt do a prospect on top of that, especially not a RD since the only ones COL has are Helleson and Barron who I value much more than Lehkonen

Based on what? His performance in the playoffs last year?

Based on his last 2 years - he’s a 3rd pairing Caliber D.

I don't know what the Pens needs will be by the deadline and if they'll even be in the race, but I think the value of the trade is fine if indeed the Pens need someone like him.

Yeah, that's wayyyyy too much lol. Chiarot is a decent 2nd pairing dman. That's worth a 2nd at the deadline IMO.
