I would rather trade for Manson, but I get the idea. Anaheim has some exciting rentals available.

If Dvorak can land a 1st and 2nd, I have to think Rackell does too..... especially with retention

Rakell has a year left, Dvorak has 4 and can play center. A first would be a good haul for Rakell but probably fair if they can find a team to outbid if they need retention.

Vaid point, but I still think you get more than a 1st with retention.

All the sudden people think Dvorak is a world beater...... best season is 38 points. Sure he can win faceoffs and play D, but you get similar production from Rackell...... probably better offensively actually.

I’m not big on Dvorak but I think that’s just the reality. Biggest draw is his contract imo. Retention will def drive the price up but Rakell contract isn’t that big so a lot of teams could probably fit him in at TDL without asking for retention. If Tampa or Vegas wants to add him they’d likely need retention and then I can see a higher price being paid.

I think Rakell is worth a 2nd (33-45 pick) without retention, add a third for a million of retention. Just my opinion.

I would be charmed to get a first for Rakell with retention, even if the pick is only 3 or 4 ahead of Anaheim's second.

Normally I would agree. But that Dvorak deal has me reassessing his value on the market.

I don't see TB needing Rackell. Everyone on here seems to under estimate TB's player development

It’s good but never hurts to have another good forward
