Makes a ton of sense. Hurricanes have remodeled their whole roster, and if Tarasenko can stay healthy and score 25-30 goals, that can be a big win for the Canes.

Canes cannot fit Tarasenko’s 2nd year at $7.5M into their 22-23 salary structure. Not to mention, why in the world would they take the risk?
