Ik hertl said he doesn’t like it in Winnipeg, but he’s only gonna be here for a couple months and move on to free agency and why not come here for one spring to try and chase a cup? Idk what his value is so I just threw a bunch of stuff in there that I think would probably involve. Niku still has really high potential just not gonna work in Winnipeg so I think San Jose would want to try and turn him into a stud
That top 6 is nasty aswell definitely able to match up against the likes of Colorado 100%.

Jets wouldn't trade Stastny, especially not to a team out of the playoffs, Hertl won't waive anyway.

I'll be very surprised if Perfetti makes the team, think it'll be another year yet before he makes the Jets.

This post shows how weak the Jets top 6 is, really should've traded for Buchnevich.

It’s not that the top 6 generally needs fixing it’s fine with wheeler and stastny being in there just giving options on what Chevy might try and do at the deadline, I doubt he’s gonna get a defender as we still have Heinola trying to get a spot so I did the most likely outcome of the deadline. Too much for a rental. At best Hertl would return a 1st and a B prospect at the TDL. He's not getting 4 pieces including a roster player and a first. Trading a roster player defeats the purpose of trading for Hertl to add depth.
