Well, he's going to go back to the OHL this season (and his contract will slide), so when he gets to Bakersfield next fall he'll still have a 3-year ELC ahead of him. Best case scenario (IMO) he plays 2 of those in the NHL, providing very good value for 2023-24 and 24-25.

The fact that Holland got him AND Carter Savoie with a single 3rd round pick is uber impressive.
