Possibly I don’t think the jets would do that but maybe would add samberg with what I have I don’t see how he’s going to get into this lineup any time soon even though I love him and think he will be a legit top 4 guy for a long time.

Two first rounders and morrissey I think is pretty fair morrissey isn’t a #1 defenceman. Chych is and morrisseys NMC kicks in next season if you could dump his contract this is a good way to do it.

No it's a tremendous overpay. Morrissey isn't a number one, but neither is Chychrun. So the Jets are giving up 2 firsts and a top pairing defenseman on a fair contract for what would be a lateral move at best. Poor asset management, you're placing far too much value on Chychrun's one outlier year which he likely won't repeat.

One of us is wrong about chych’s value. He was 10th in points out of defenceman last year on a very poor Arizona team plays a very solid defensive game and is on a great contract he’s also 23. Now with that being said morrissey could have a bounce back year now that he has some actual competent help with the Dillon and Schmidt trades but his game has been awful for the last 3 years and his contract is not a good one if his game doesn’t get better this year and quickly the jets should be trying to move him before his NMC kicks in.

Yes, Chychrun had a good year last season, but has generally been disappointing before that. He may turn into a #1 defenseman someday, but one outlier year of playing above his normal level in a shortened oddball season, doesn't make him one now. The Jets would probably need to add to Morrissey due to age difference, but two firsts is ridiculous. You're just heavily basing your opinion on recency bias which happens a lot here.

Did you watch Arizona play last year or are you strictly basing this off stats because I watched chych play a lot (he was on my fantasy team) and he’s the real deal. Unlike morrissey since trouba stopped carrying him morrissey is a 2nd pairing defenceman at best.

As I said in my prior post, I realize you are using a heavy amount of recency bias in your evalution of Chychrun and some internet hot takes and no actual information in your obviously incredibly flawed evalution of Morrissey.

If it's for Chychrun I'd do it.

Imagine it from the viewpoint of a rational hockey fan such as myself. It is mind numbing to debate with a poster such as yourself, whose evaluations are based off of hot takes they've read online somewhere. I guess try to enjoy what you think hockey is.

In the future try to educate yourself on the players you are talking about from real hockey sites instead of what you have read on social media somewhere.

Get back to me In a couple months when you get a chance to watch chych play and you realize how good he is. Until then please stop overvaluing Morrisseys play he’s been god awful for 3 years, top 10 worst contracts in the league.
