I'm not giving Domi and Olofsson away Sabres get 3 pretty good pieces but they let Edmonton have a legit kick at the cup for one year

That’s not enough? That’s insane to even consider asking for bouch but Holloway and a first tacked on wow easily declined by Edmonton.

Edmonton really needs to make it to the final four this year, another early playoff exit this year and McDavid might be unhappy

Domi and Olofsson on there own could get a pick and prospect each, not only that add retention and 2 cap dumps

We definitely do, but we are not giving away our 2 best prospects for a player that isn’t playing well, and a guy that’s only good on the PP.

Edmonton's potential achilleas heel is on the defensive side of the puck. This is giving away a ton of depth at their weakest position to shore up their forwards which is already their strength. Take into account too that Bouchard is penciled into the line-up with no real NHL quality RHD depth behind him.

This deal causes short term problem in only leaving Edmonton one goalie. It makes the team significantly worse in long term moving two excellent prospects. So short term and long term negative effects makes it easy pass

Oilers decline easily lol. Bouch is a top 5 dman prospect in the league and holloway potentially the steal of the draft for a 3C and a 3rd line winger.... oilers reject this with ease.

Victor Olofsson... 413th best forward at 5v5 goal scoring over the past 2 seasons and not good defensively. Yeah, nobody is giving up top prospects + a 1st for this guy.
