Can’t really imagine burns waiving for florida, or the rangers giving up all that. The problem with the sharks is they basically have 4 years of so much cap eaten up by guys that are no longer high end that it’s almost not worth trying to do anything but bottom out.

Not so sure about the Burns trade, but all the others are very solid and reasonable. One of the better AGMs to make the outlook of this team a bit less miserable.

Not sure the sharks want trade for over $5 in cap and retain another $4 mil for that long. I don’t hate the trade though. I would try and flip Hornqvist for more picks.

If burns waives a place like Florida, Texas or nashville make perfect sense. Florida is on the upswing to win and is a no tax state.

Why wouldn't Burns waive for Florida? I'd really love too know.

      Because it’s florida….
And because it sounds like he likes where he lives. He’s more of a ranch guy than a beach guy.

I'm almost certain he would waive to go to Florida, certain.

I'd rather spend a couple years on the beach, making more money.

He's getting older and definitely won't win a cup with SJ. His chances go up a ton with Florida and he makes more money. Really don't see why you think he wouldn't.

Everything he’s said. Also, he would basically have to move an entire zoo of exotic animals across the country.
