Wallstedt was a draft steal who should not have been picked in the 20s. He has way more value than Thomson

- Why Autin Watson GTFO? He's a great veteran 4th liner, only makes 1.5 for the next 2 seasons. He plays hard, shows the right example and is even capable of scoring

- Really doubt the Sens would throw Tyler Kleven in a deal to acquire Kyle Okposo. They are very very high on Kleven and even traded up at the draft to get him before Montreal did.

- They also need Matt Murray for now and there's very good reasons to think that he'll be totally fine this year

- no chance they get rid of Connor Brown like that

- The Wild wouldn't trade Wallstedt like that, Sens are also absolutely stacked in goalie prospects (Gustavsson, Sogaard and Merilainen. Even Mandolese is decent)


I much prefer the projected lineup that the one proposed here, not even close.
