Description
Maybe you're in denial or believe youre an actual NHL GM.
But if you haven't been paying attention to the deals Arizona has been making then thats your issue. I believe they do this deal. NHL network says theyd take 2 firsts for Chychrun. I believe this deal gets done if offered.
Klefbom is no longer needed on LTIR to start the season in this scenario.
And my roster with Klefbom stands at 24/23

Id still like to wheel and deal for more D and better G

I don't think I'd do any of those deals if I was the Oilers GM.

Zero chance the Jets have any desire to get stuck with Nurse's albatross contract.

Nope !!

Ehlers is arguably the best winger in Canada, and Heinola is the Jets’ second best prospect. No way Winnipeg is trading those two, especially not for an overpaid defenceman who they won’t have the cap space for, as well as a winger they have no need for

ARI does the deal, but Holland doesn't make it to see the last of those picks to go out. At some point, this can't be a 2 line, 1 dman team if McDavid wants a cup.

WPG declines quickly. Nurse is a good player, but $9mm AAV for a defensive dman without a long term offensive track record is a tough pill to swallow. He's getting paid like Hamilton, Hedman, Carlson, et al, but should be getting paid like Slavin. I'm not sure I'd put Nurse in the top 15 dmen in the league, but he's being paid like a top 5 guy.

DET probably accepts. Rodrigue would help fill the goalie pipeline that is still pretty bare (can never have enough NHL goalies), and Tullio is a local kid with some upside.

The Koskinen trade would probably work if the third-round pick wasn't going the other way. Detroit would probably pay a third to get those two prospects, but with Koskinen added on it isn't worth it. Taking on the prospects along with Koskinen for future considerations or a 6th/7th would probably be closer to the value, but it's a good trade proposition nonetheless.

I like Yamamoto and Nurse but that trade is horrible for the Jets, Ehlers is their best player and Heinola their best prospect(yes he's better then Perfetti), no way should they trade a little less then $7M of Ehlers/Heinola for $10M+ of Nurse/Yamamoto.

You have to be delusional if you think Arizona is making that trade, zero chance they're retaining 25% on one of the best value contracts in the league for FOUR years and taking back Kassian, factoring in the retention on Chycrun they'd basically have Kassian eating up the same amount of cap space as Chycrun was.. Lol..
Arizona could easily get a similar return for Chycrun without taking back a guy who has three years left on his deal or retaining a single dollar.

Well I don't blame you for trying to dump Nurse's contract, but only Chiarelli or Holland are bad enough GM's to get suckered into taking on that boat anchor.

Ehlers is not their best player at all lol. 100% Scheifle, Wheeler, and Hellebuyck are all ahead of him. I cant even continue reading along after your opening sentence. And yes Arizona would do that deal if offered. Thats a fact. Just look at what theyve done so far. Some people are so far up their own a$$3s lmao

Lol! you're delusional, Schiefele sucks defensively and Wheeler is a 3rd liner, you don't know anything about the Jets.
