Description
Added Hertl and Chara. Got some picks for one more solid draft (quite deep and rather unpredictable) before serious “contention” ( I’m a Habs fan leave me alone ). Dumped some cap with satisfactory sweeteners. Now the cap situation is relatively comfortable. Let me know what you think.

Why would they not have interest in a young (ish) puck moving defenseman, who is analytically solid in transition, who (if you watched him) passes the eye test and who is on a no risk deal that Detroit wouldn’t mind giving up a 4th (1 of 3). But I forgot… you’re Stevie Y.

Because he's redundant and is a rental. Our defense is set and he serves us no purpose in the short or long term.

Guy's.. who cares about Kulak and they other... it is only to send them out to whoever at +/- that cost.
With that been said.. I like Hertl addition and cost seems fair, what will be is next year cost?
I would personally keep Armia for a while as we do have cap space until summer.

Cuz Swayman and i got no clue who their backup is, will not make them contend in the playoffs. Not to mention their defense which has significantly declined

Kulak is a UFA at the end of the season and non playoff teams don't usually take on rentals.

They signed Ullmark from Buffalo. Swayman is just fine. With a sub 2.00 GAA in both leagues after winning college goalie of the year. Rask will return in Feb. no worries. Do some research.

What? LMAO

Swayman is expected to be the #2 and Ullmark the #1. If you look at goalies with a minimum of 10 games last year. Both Swayman and Ullmark were top 10 in 5v5 SV% and GSAA.

The defense is getting worse? It's nearly the same defense as last year.....you know the ones that was 4th in GA/GP and 2nd in PK%

did you forget about Boston signing Ullmark or something, there is no reason to acquire Allen, they are set.
