That's a pretty interesting offer... his lack NHL production is concerning, but If I'm Ottawa I'd be willing to bet that's more of a reflection on him not being quite NHL ready last year vs him not having the NHL skill. If Ottawa thinks he can be a strong top 2 C, I'd do it.

I agree with this, he was underwhelming this year but I’m a big fan of Foudy, his speed would look great next to Stutzle. With two speedy, high skill guys like that and a reliable 2-way guy like Connor Brown that could be a very good 2nd line for us, eases Pinto in at 3C for now, and the Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson line can take on the difficult matchups to free up Foudy and Stutzle to make magic.

Why? Columbus doesn’t need another offensive defenseman with adding Bean and Boqvist this offseason and already having Werenski, he doesn’t bring anything Columbus doesn’t already have, unlike Foudy who has amazing speed, something we were lacking last season.

Mr Brannstrom was on pace for 35 pts. If that’s disappointing as a 21 year old, idk what to say hah

Idk either. I don't want to move Brannstrom at all, but it feels like it's coming. I like Foudy's upside as a top 2C. Elite speed, and he's able to keep up with his feet. If the Sens are considering shifting Stützle to RW, just imagine a line of Formenton-Foudy-Stützle

I like Foudy but is this the best way to trade Brannstrom?

I'd be looking for a RD or Brannstrom to be part of a package for a significant player
