What?!?! Is this a real offer? Did Winnipeg agree to this? Did OEL waive his NMC for this???

CALL THE LEAGUE!! CALL THE LEAGUE!!!

When you say it's closer than you thought...

Is there a voting option on Cap Friendly and I don't see it?

No, no voting...I just compared them on hockey-reference. OEL playing a offence first role would probably be a more fitting role for him with Vancouver, but I can't see his zone starts changing much given that Hughes is there.

Edit: I'd be taking Morrissey based on age and contract though.

Same, Morrissey based on age and contract though

Depends what team you are though, if you're a team like Pittsburgh or Washington trying to win "one last time", maybe you'd be tempted to go with OEL and hope he plays at his old form when you need it

As for the voting, I thought it was the case as I have seen a similar comment a few times. It'd be great if there was. Some kind of like/dislike function for every trade proposal, like you approve the trade or not.

I do feel like a lot of OEL's issues stem from poor usage, but I could be completely wrong...I don't spend a lot of time watching Yotes games, aside from when they play the Ducks and he doesn't "look" bad, though the eye test can be deceiving.

As for a like/dislike function-They used to have that, but I assume they removed it because it ended up being more of a "trash" based comment sections, without any form of feedback. There's rarely a trade posted on here that doesn't get dumped on by one fan base or the other. You're also never (maybe rarely...) going to get an unbiased vote, based purely off of the size of each fanbase that is represented on here.

Curious as to what makes Morrissey the easy choice, or why he is better than OEL. They score at a similar rate, OEL has better underlying numbers, they both play tough matchups, and both of them are brutal in their own ends.

This position makes sense. Morrissey is $1 million less (though one extra year) and 4 years younger. Maybe he doesnt deteriorate as much over the life of his contract compared to OEL
