The wild wouldn’t be able to make that work. Would make more sense if it were zuccarello or something.

They have ~$12m this year and that's not including the ~$9m Kaprizov will likely get. They have ~$15m in dead cap 3 and 4 years from now. People are accurately assessing their cap space. lol

They are really tight with the cap. They're going to be fine this year, but after that the buyout penalties kick in and it's going to be hell.

Next year, they have 15 million in cap space to sign key RFAs like Fiala, Greenway and Kahkonen, who will command over 10M altogether. After that, they'll have to get 7 roster players.

There's pretty much no room to add another 7,8M without giving money the other way, too.

No it’s not kuznetsov is a superstar center in his prime with multiple years left on a decent contract
