My thought is Philly gives up a lot of assets but taking a chance that tarasenko rebounds and is an upgrade, they also get some cap space. St Louis gets assets and cap space, plus a guy who can play now and contributed big before his illness, but is a risk coming off cancer treatment. Arizona gets paid to retain on Tarasenko and also gets JVR who is still a very productive net presence but probably overpaid in his current contract.
