I’m guessing it’s a three way trade with Minnesota and Colorado?

Overall I think it looks good for Buffalo starting their Eichel-less rebuild

rahter have Toews over Dumba, Thta would be an easy decline by the avs. 3 years of Toews out weights 2 years of Dumba, also Toews is Makars perfect partner, trading him makes 0 sense and breaking up one of the top pairs in the entire NHL last year.

The RHD vs LHD balance isnt a reason to do this trade, Girard or Byram both can play the Right side.

That's a lot of fancy dancing to end with rask and compher on your top line ;p. Seems fair if that avs trade works...im not sure washington pays that for zucc though does he really move the needle that much over hagelin or sheary.

Sakic is smarter than me, I’m sure he’d politely say no thanks

One of the few that consistently includes Zucc in an Eichel proposal, which I appreciate. I still don’t think MIN should be in on him, but moving Zuccs 6M would make more sense than Fiala IMO.

That said, I def think this needs to be simplified. Drop Olofsson and thin out the MIN package.

Zucc had like 5 points less than the 2 of them combined, and theyre getting him at 50% for cap dumps, and as a Sabre fan - you'll never catch me advocating for Sheary

Made it more complex to clear out more cap, though the Colorado end probably doesnt work for everyone, I want to rethink that part

Were you interested in Toews and Compher specifically, or just looking to extract value? Dumba I’ve found is a little tricky to move, but if it’s just raw value you’re after, I think it’s a good framework.

Caps Pass on Zucc. While he would be nice they don't need him that badly, as the 1st, 2nd, and 4th lines are all set. Hathaway was one of the main reasons the 4th line was so good last year, Kempny is overpaid but need on the left side as currently the left side for DC is Kempny, Orlov, Fehervary, and Irwin, And the capitals shouldn't be looking to give up 1st round picks for players that aren't a massive upgrade.
