That Dahlin contract is terrible so we won't do it.

Kopitar is 34....Byfield has played 6 games. Danualt is a border line 3C. Guaranteed depth thats why

Kopitar has 3 years left at 10 million. Danault signed a 7 year deal at 6 million a season, not 3C money at all and Byfield is a #2 overall pick. They aren't doing this

No it isn’t, that would make him a UFA. A bridge is meant to delay a long term deal while retaining control over the player upon the bridge’s completion

The Kings are out of the Eichel sweepstakes now that they signed Danault, but I'll say the same thing that I said prior to that signing.

LA will not trade both Vilardi and Turcotte. One or the other. Here's the template for an acceptable Eichel trade from LA.

1. Top two protected 1st round pick
2. One of Turcotte or Vilardi
3. One current roster player not named Kopitar, Doughty, Danault, Edler, or Brown (NTC/NMCs) and not named Bjornfot, Anderson, or Petersen (positional needs). Iafallo, Kempe, Arvidsson, Roy, and Walker are probably the best choices here.
4. One prospect not named Byfield, Clarke, and the other of Vilardi/Turcotte.

That means you could technically do the following trade:
2022 1st round pick (top two protected)
Turcotte
Kempe
Kaliyev

I'd make this deal, switch Kempe out with Iafallo or Thomas

Iafallo. The Kings need to include at least one roster player for cap purposes, so it can't be Thomas.
