No they don't. They have zero interest in Olofsson.

Olofsson relies heavily on the PP for his production, the Oilers already have a top end PP. Better off having Yam who has the better even strength game, not to mention younger with a higher ceiling and more RFA years left.

Playing a pure goal scorer like Olofsson with McDavid and/or Draisaitl would likely be a different story for him, he's "relied' on the PP in BUFFALO to get his points, because the team is not very good and don't play much of their games in the OZone as it is... He's still been fairly productive on a bad team, whereas Yamamoto has been given opportunities galore to play with the 2 best players in the world and had one stretch where he was productive.. would much rather take the risk on Olofsson to see if he can become a 40 goal scorer on this team rather than hope Yamamoto can get 40 points, plus you get rid of the Koskinen deal in the meantime to possibly acquire a goalie at the deadline....

In addition Koskinen is terrible, not really an upgrade over the lackluster goaltending the Sabres already have. Olofsson can be a 30 goal scorer easily with a good playmaker when he stays healthy. In Edmonton he could score 40 or 50 playing with Mcdavid.

Olofsson is a floater who doesn't go to the hard areas of the ice, doesn't win puck battles and isn't strong defensively. As a result he's one of the worst goalscorers in the league at 5v5. He has zero value to Edmonton and they would laugh at this offer.

Nope but that’s about as good a trade offer as any gm will give for eichel. A blue chip prospect, a top 6 winger and a 1st. His value is an all time low and Adam’s is handling it poorly. It’s a perfect storm or screwing the sabres and sucks but his 4 1sts ask in a flat cap is never going to happen.
