UPL shouldn't be playing in the NHL this year, the Sabres are going to be a trainwreck on D. That's not good for a goalie's confidence. Cozens, Ruotsalainen, or Dahlin are serious breakout players

You’re right , forgot about Ruotsalainen. I am concerned about this teams potential to create offence, I’m not sure if Dahlin will be able to get 60 or Cozens can get 50

Both will get a full-season on PP1 and should be deployed correctly under Granato. Won't say Dahlin gets 60 but if he gets 50 on the Sabres this year and shows growth in his defensive play then I'd consider that a breakout year for him. Cozens will have a breakout year if he can takeover games with his speed and power, I can see him getting 40 points if he develops well this year. Ruots hopefully gets top 6 icetime and should easily reach 40 points so long as he plays the full season

All pretty fair I’d say

Alex Turcotte will come up at mid-season and show that he belongs.

Vilardi becoming the full time 2C would be even better

Doubtful Liljegren even has an NHL starting position to open the season. Sandin would be a smarter bet for the Leafs. He was given chances to replace Rielly on the 1st PP towards the end of last season and did pretty well in a small sample size. That move alone would give him a big point total that will look great.

ABB is a good shout. But I'm praying for a breakout season from Cal Foote in Tampa.

Another solid choice. I think even Joseph might have a breakout as a top 6 guy

Old man Bouchard is my pick too. I think he'll score at a 30+ point pace.

I know he’s not young, but you could see Yanni Gourde become a legit top line guy this year for Seattle, which I would consider a (second) breakout
