Gonna say Buffalo declines, I think they value the 2nd and the picks 50% Miller returns more than a 3rd line center and a much later pick

So you value Miller enough to pair him with Muzzin, so top 4 RD, and expect some retention on top of that, but think a bottom 6 undersized, over paid forward is fair trade, especially taking into account Toronto gets the higher of the draft picks swapped. And then double down on that logic by thinking a 6th-7th defenseman who sat in the press box for the majority of their play off games last year, and a 13th forward who can't crack a very weak bottom 6 in Toronto, will somehow net you a 2nd.

I don't see Miller as a top 4 D, he might get back to form on a team like Toronto though. Kerfoot would net more in a trade than Miller (even at half retained off) would.

My mistake, I thought since you paired him with Muzzin on the roster above. that was who you thought he should be paired with.

You can't just package up a couple guys worth maybe a 4th each and expect a 2nd in return. Regardless, NSH declines. They don't really have a need or room for either player.

Chicago declines. Not retaining and taking a cap dump.
