An offer sheet on Thomas would have to be in the $$$ range of stupid, like the KK one was, for it to not get matched.

Plus St. Louis barely has no cap space

Why would Thomas coming to Calgary make Tkachuk happy? In all likelihood he leaving Calgary in the summer of 2023 as a UFA, with St Louis a top destination, and having Thomas as a teammate.

Really don't think Ottawa would pay that much to get Monahan

And Thomas would have more value than Monahan right now, the offer sheet doesn't make sense

Yeah but you need to have a legitimate case for that, Kucherov did have a hip surgery and 100% recovery can take a lot of time. It has to be approved by real doctors. I know we're in a era where there's conspiracy theories for everything but think for one second what happened to Arizona that made them lose their first round pick. The NHL is a serious multi billions business.
