DET
  1. Koskinen, Mikko
  2. 2022 1st round pick (EDM)
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (EDM)
EDM
  1. Fabbri, Robby
Additional Details:
I honestly have no clue what his value is, but I think Yzerman could get a first. I assumed the 2nd is to take Koskinen to make the cap work.
2.
DET
  1. Hagelin, Carl
  2. 2022 3rd round pick (WSH)
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Ive done trades like this quite a few times, and I like it, Detroit gets a pick to take on a bad contract, WSH gets a solid bottom 6 forward for cheap to balance it out a little
WSH
  1. Namestnikov, Vladislav ($1,000,000 retained)
3.
DET
  1. 2022 4th round pick (CHI)
CHI
  1. Gagner, Sam
Additional Details:
Any Team
4.
DET
  1. De Haan, Calvin
  2. 2023 1st round pick (CHI)
Additional Details:
It does not have to be Chicago, any team looking for a vet LD for a playoff run, I think the Hawks will be competitive this year, and they might want another piece on the blue line to give them a push. De Haan is included because he is on an expiring deal, would not be needed with Leddy, and makes the money work. Can also be flipped.
CHI
  1. Leddy, Nick ($2,750,000 retained)
5.
DET
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (NYI)
6.
DET
  1. Engvall, Pierre
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Engvall to make money work

Detroit cannot retain on three trades, we already have Pánik and only three retentions are allowed.

The washington trade doesn't make sense for Detroit due to him being signed another year and with the salary retention on Namestnikov the price should be higher.

could be okay for the leafs but I think liljegren or Dermott would be just fine. also I think we would rather get a good forward with term

Only way I see them sending koskinen is if they acquire another goalie or one of their own goalies are out performing him. Otherwise they have no back up to Smith. I like fabbri to the oilers though.
I honestly think Leddy would be a good fit for the capitals, their left side isn't all that great right now. They should have just under 3.2M in cap space at the deadline so a half retained Leddy would fit perfectly. I don't mind taking hagelin back but if they can fit him in he probably stays for his defensive play.
I don't know if Chicago is ready yet to pay assets for rentals, depends where they find themselves in the playoff hunt. Also they have 5 nhl LD signed right now.
Toronto is a good possibility got Stetcher or maybe Montreal.
Winnipeg makes sense for as half retained Greiss so they can have some insurance in case Hellebuyck gets hurt or struggles.

But you can only retain on yeah contracts this year as we already retain on panik.

I do it for the 2nd or maybe a 3rd, if Toronto don't need the cap space. The cost of Stecher and Fabbri is going to depend on how well they play this season,

Fabbri isn't worth a 1st and there's zero impetus for Edmonton to trade their 1B to Detroit, let alone adding a 2nd!! That's fantasyland stuff right there.
