Mind boggling that Mete gets a spot over Brannstrom. And if that's the case put Brannstrom in Belleville so he's not sitting in a press box losing value nightly.

Kole Sherwood will clears waivers so put him in Belleville. I'd much rather have Parker Kelly playing games while Watson is the 13th man. I've lost faith in Tierney but I get that playing him gives us the best chance of moving him for 3rd.

Both Victor Mete and Erik Brannstrom should have a spot on a NHL team, but Dorion and DJ Smith have their ways of doing things, right or wrong. We'll have to wait and see how it plays out

Kole Sherwood shouldn't play unless we have at least 2 injuries at forward.

There's several options from belleville. Egor Sokolov apparently looks like a beast, might make the team out of camp and never look back

Angus Crookshank, Parker Kelly, Cole Reinhardt, Mark Kastelic could/should get games during the season, maybe even Roby Jarventie even though he's still pretty young. Ridly Greig has a good chance to get his 9 games to start the year. Sucks that he is too young to play in the AHL this season but at least he'll be at the WJC

Outside of those, there's also Pontus Aberg and Andrew Agozzino who are quality AHL players and have played in the NHL. Logan Shaw too and well Scott Sabourin lol. On defense there's a few too like Lassi Thomson, JBD and Aspirot. Guenette will probably need some time

So many options from Belleville. Don't remember the last time we had so many. Real depth is starting to develop.

Yep - my comments are strictly referring to the line up in this post. I just hope they play the best players. If we struggle out of the gate and it's clear the kids won't push for a playoff spot THEN put the waiver exempt Pinto, Brannstrom and Sokolov in Belleville, roll with guys like Aberg, Shaw, and Josh Brown and cross your fingers for a high pick.
