Why are people so quick to trade Andersson? He had one bad season

Rasmus is a wonderful player and I would love to keep him but he might be an attractive asset to buffalo, seeing as he's a young, cost-controlled RD with some upside left. Need to give to get.

Bruins may accept, but might need the 1st to be a 2nd and a 3rd or something, unclear, but not bad

That said, idk why the flames want ANOTHER LW, like I get that you are trading him to the Sabres, but why not just send Monahan to the Sabres

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Buffalo may prefer to keep Monahan. He is still pretty young and could help shelter their center prospects.
This trade assumes that Buffalo would prefer to have a first+Debrusk over Monahan based on their current trajectory of rebuilding. This would be a three-way trade.

Makes sense! Regardless, still would be a bit of an overpay by the bruins as people are undervaluing debrusk after having an off year, that said, looks fun overall

Rather it be Boston's 2023 1st rounder, but I wouldn't let it be a deal breaker for Boston to bring in Monahan.
